Encore Brings Luxury Apartment Brand to Florida

Encore Capital Management is debuting its luxury apartment brand, The Rise, in Florida. The brand, which launched last year with The Rise Old Town in Portland, is synonymous with upscale urban living. It will now have a location in Fort Lauderdale’s trendy Flagler Village neighborhood. Encore is also planning to start construction of The Rise later this year as part of the company’s highly anticipated, mixed-use development Plantation Walk.

The Rise Flagler Village will be a 30-story, 348-unit project located at 405 NE 2nd Street.  The Encore team is breaking ground on the development on Friday, March 9 at 10 a.m.

Located between 2nd and 3rd Street, The Rise Flagler Village will have a full amenity deck complete with a resort style pool, elevated gardens, state of the art fitness center and a well-amenitized lounge area.  The project will also feature ground-level retail on 3rd Street and is within walking distance to local FAT Village events, the Las Olas shopping district, cultural venues,  the new Brightline station and mass transit.

The Rise projects are located in neighborhoods near quality employment centers, mass transit, great recreation and entertainment options—these are the submarkets where people want to live, work and play.  South Florida has an especially high population of millennials, many of whom prefer to rent by choice in an amenity-rich, luxury apartment building rather than dealing with the challenges of purchasing a home.

In addition to Fort Lauderdale and Portland, Encore is also constructing The Rise brand product in San Francisco and Los Angeles. Those projects include: The Rise Westgate, The Rise Hayes Valley, The Rise Walnut Creek, The Rise Hollywood and The Rise Koreatown.

In Florida, The Rise Flagler Village will be followed by The Rise Plantation Walk, which will be located within the $350 million mixed-use residential, office, and retail destination in the Fort Lauderdale submarket of Plantation.

Every location we choose has a high walkability score, meaning residents can easily access quality shopping and restaurants, entertainment options, and many times they can even walk to work.

The Rise Flagler Village is expected to be delivered in early 2020.
